This is a static website hosted on a server under my control at http://sinnloseprojekte.de:8088. When you access the website, technically necessary connection data is processed to establish the connection and deliver the requested files. This may include your IP address, the time of the request, the requested address and technical information transmitted by your browser.
The prepared web server configuration does not use visitor statistics or HTTP access logs. Operational or error messages may nevertheless contain technical connection details. Such data is processed to provide the website reliably, diagnose faults and protect the server against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interests are the secure and reliable operation of this website. Operational data is retained only for as long as it is required for these purposes and is then deleted, unless a concrete security incident requires longer examination.
Fonts, images, scripts, the contact QR code and downloadable contact files are served locally. The website does not include analytics or advertising trackers, third-party embeds or application cookies.
This website is delivered over unencrypted HTTP on port 8088. Data exchanged with the website can be read or modified by parties with access to the network connection. HTTPS on the referring domain does not encrypt the subsequent connection to this website.

Messages sent to joerg@grotehusmann.net are forwarded by dohmains.de to my private Gmail account. According to the information supplied for this forwarding setup, dohmains.de retains no mailbox copy and creates no email backups. I alone access and manage the correspondence.
I store correspondence directly in my private Gmail account at Google. For consumer services in the European Economic Area, the service provider is generally Google Ireland Limited. Google operates servers worldwide, so information may also be processed outside the country in which you live. Google describes its safeguards and applicable transfer frameworks in its privacy policy and its information on data transfers.
I retain correspondence for as long as it is needed for the exchange and delete it when it is no longer needed. Statutory retention duties or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims may require longer retention. Google’s own deletion and retention processes apply after data is deleted from the Gmail account.
Providing information by email is voluntary. Without a return address, I may be unable to answer your message.

LinkedIn is provided only as an external link; no LinkedIn content is embedded in this website. Data is transmitted to LinkedIn only when you follow the link. The business card and contact file are direct local downloads. The QR code contains contact details and does not use an external QR service.
